Come dig in the dirt
and explore the world of backyard gardening with us! Plant seeds,
design cool gardens, explore our grow dome. Take home plants for your
own backyard garden.

From slugs to
earthworms to microscopic bugs! Learn what lives beneath the flowers
and plants to help them grow. Learn to identify bugs, make a home for
them in compost, and create costumes of your favorite tiny friend.

Come spend a week
exploring ways to attract wildlife to your backyard. Practice your
naturalist skills by identifying caterpillars, butterflies , moths and
birds. Find out what flowers and plants they like to eat. Design and
plant a garden made for birds and butterflies. Make birdhouses to take
home to your own garden.

Spend this exciting
week making spiral and sun shaped gardens. Make puppets, paintings,
and potpourri from plants that you can grow in your own backyard and
recycled materials. Create your own garden art to take home for the
holiday!

Come be inspired by
nature! Learn how nature grows food in the desert, how to gather
energy like a leaf and much more! Explore ways we can use what nature
knows in our own lives.

Come for the first
time or come back to harvest tasty treats from the garden. Learn how
to make nutritious snacks, explore edible flowers, and strange desert
roots. We will explore the harvest ceremonies of different cultures
and even create our own.
