CARE - SUSTAINABILITY EDUCATION FOR TEENAGERS
Earth Care builds the awareness,
commitment, and passion in youth necessary for the future
health of our Environment and Society. We offer programs in
school and after school to educate teenagers about ecology,
sustainable business practices, systems thinking, social
activism, and much more.

GREENING
MONTE DEL SOL
Monte Del Sol is transforming before our very eyes. 20
teenagers are greening their school and much more. Students
are learning through doing - Water Harvesting, Organic
Gardening, Recycling, Composting, Solar Energy, BioDiesel,
Natural Building Techniques, and Permaculture.

TEENAGERS
CREATE, MANAGE AND RUN SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS
One World Coffee and Trade is a fair trade store that is to
open on March 12th at the Santa Fe Market. Students will be
selling socially and environmentally responsible products
that are fair trade certified.

A gathering of people who are interested in educating youth

LIVING MACHINE COMES TO TAOS
Worlds first Living Lab comes to Taos, New Mexico.
Construction begins spring 2004. The Living Lab is an
engineered learning space with curriculum designed to
demonstrate the most innovative concepts in sustainable
building, ecological design, and environmental
stewardship.

These
are exciting times for the Santa Fe Farmers Market
community, as the Market grows ever closer to
establishing a permanent site. Big changes are in the
air thanks to the efforts of the Market's non-profit
partner organization, the Santa Fe Farmers Market

BIONEERS
CONFERENCE
The
Bioneers is an educational nonprofit that strengthens and
expands networks of practical visionaries working on behalf
of the environment and people. We spread solutions-oriented
stories - including both ecological models and social
strategies - for restoring the earth. Bioneers organizes an
annual inspiring conference outside of San Francisco that is
not to be missed.

YOUTH
SUSTAINABILITY CONFERENCE IN SANTA FE
In the
fall of 2004 Earth Care will host a 2-Day conference in
Santa Fe to introduce youth to sustainability. The
