Now Accepting Nominations for Sustainable Awards

Earth Care, the Santa Fe Public Schools Energy Conservation Program, City of Sana Fe and National Wildlife Federation are now accepting nominations for the 2012 Sustainable School Awards for projects launched or completed in 2011, until March 15th, 2012.

NOMINATE YOUR PROJECT NOW!

SUSTAINABLE SCHOOL AWARDS are non-competitive awards given to recognize school-based projects that encourage student leadership, connect to community, and reduce a school’s impact on the environment. Public, private and charter schools may apply. Awards are given in nine Sustainable Schools Pathways and we encourage schools to pursue and nominate projects in each category.

Please contact christina@earthcare.org with questions about the school awards.

Teachers, students, administrators and partners may submit nominations by March 15th on behalf of a project(s) at their school. We encourage schools to develop and submit nominations for projects in each category every year.
